Introduction to Predictive Maintenance
Code d’identification
MNT-01

This training is designed to explain the fundamental principles of the five most common predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies used in the industry: vibration analysis, infrared thermography, airborne and structure-borne ultrasound, oil analysis, and motor circuit analysis.
By the end of the course, participants will understand the capabilities of these technologies as well as the common pitfalls that may arise during their implementation.
Profiles :
Maintenance and reliability managers, methods and reliability engineers, planners and supervisors, as well as those responsible for measurements, monitoring, and the use of predictive maintenance programs.
Programme complet
The principles of predictive maintenance: why is it so powerful?
- How predictive maintenance reduces overtime and unplanned/emergency interventions
- How to find the right balance between preventive and predictive maintenance
- When to carry out predictive maintenance
- How to implement a PdM program with a basic financial justification
- The common language of predictive maintenance – key terms and definitions
- How to identify mechanical, electrical, and stationary failure modes using PdM technologies:
Vibration analysis
Lubricant analysis in predictive maintenance
Infrared thermography in predictive maintenance - Ultrasound analysis in predictive maintenance
- Electric motor analysis in predictive maintenance
- Hands-on exercises for applying predictive maintenance
- Q&A session
What you will learn:
- Understand predictive maintenance technologies
- Be able to select the appropriate PdM technologies based on the application
- Identify the role of PdM technologies within a maintenance strategy
- Define an implementation plan
